Series MX40

The Series MX40 Discharge Air Temperature Control System is for use with atmospheric indirect-fired heaters using a two-stage inducer. The controller senses and maintains a constant discharge air temperature by modulating the gas flow and staging the inducer. Series MX40 controllers are used with the E42, E52, and E62 Series modulators. Typical applications achieve a turndown of approximately 5:1 during continuous operation.

Series MX4010

The Series MX4010 Discharge Air Temperature Control System is for use with split manifold atmospheric indirect-fired heaters. The split manifold operates as two independent manifold sections sharing a single inducer. The controller senses and maintains a constant discharge air temperature by modulating one manifold section and staging the non-modulated section. Series MX4010 controllers are used with the E42, E52, and E62 Series modulators. Typical applications achieve a turndown of approximately 10:1 during continuous operation.

Signal Conditioners

The SC40 Series signal conditioner, used with the E42H, E52H, and E62H Series modulating gas valves, is designed to modulate atmospheric indirect-fired heaters with a 2‑speed inducer. Most applications can achieve approximately a 5:1 turndown. The system is easily integrated into existing heater designs. Its reliability and simplicity significantly reduce the engineering time required to bring a high-turndown modulating heater to market.

SC40 Signal Conditioners

SC40-SM2 Series signal conditioners are used with the E42, E52, and E62 Series modulating gas valves. The sectioned—or split—manifold design operators as two independent manifolds sharing a single 2‑speed inducer. One manifold section is fully modulating, and the other operates as a 2‑stage. Typical applications achieve a turndown of approximately 10:1.
