Taco Automatic Coin Vents are commonly installed on water or steam radiators. They use hygroscopic cellulose discs that allow air to escape when dry, then swell when exposed to water to create a positive shut-off. Taco Hy-Vents® use a high-capacity float-style design and can be installed on boilers or at high points in the system, with threaded connection options and pressure ratings up to 250 PSI. The Taco 409 Automatic Air Vent is designed for commercial systems, with a high-capacity brass body and 150 PSI operating pressure rating.
