Webstone Separators
Webstone Air Separators feature a unique stainless steel coalescing medium that removes microbubbles and stagnant air from a hydronic system, thereby eliminating noisy pipes that are a nuisance to building inhabitants. It also improves system efficiency, prevents poorly controlled room temperature, and eliminates excessive wear on system components.
The corrosion-resistant medium separates air from the fluid as the flow enters the device. The air collects at the top of the chamber, which causes the water level in the top of the unit to drop, subsequently lowering a float that opens the vent head. The float then closes the vent head as the water level rises again, guided by an alignment pin that prevents jams and ensures smooth operation. In the unlikely event of build-up or a blockage, the coalescing medium and vent can be removed for cleaning or replaced if damaged.
Webstone Accessories
Webstone’s Add-a-Gauge does just that to any standard hose connection in minutes. Add-a-Gauge utilizes any hose connection as a gauge port. It is suitable for temporary or permanent gauge installation and works with Webstone temperature and pressure gauges that have either a bottom or center back mount. A bleeder is included for easy service. In addition, the gauge is quickly removable for system draining and service.
