Armstrong Compass H pumps are energy-efficient variable-speed wet-rotor circulators designed to replace existing fixed-speed circulators. With popular flange-to-flange dimensions, Compass H pumps can be universal replacements for all circulators in their capacity range. As a result, they are suitable for residential heating and cooling and potable water supply applications.
The Compass H offers a wide performance range, a large wiring chamber, and a front-mounted terminal block for much easier and faster installation than any other current circulator. Energy-saving features of the Compass H include eight operation modes with a patented “auto” algorithm, two Sensorless modes, two constant pressure modes, and three fixed speed modes. In addition, Design Envelope Intelligent Variable Speed technology, combined with ECM motors, saves 50% or more in electrical energy and related carbon emissions over fixed speed circulators.
