Armstrong 4270 Series close-coupled horizontal pumps are motor mounted and designed for long service life and easy maintenance. They are suitable for building services, cooling towers, HVAC, and general-purpose applications. The high-strength resin impeller on 4270 Series pumps minimizes axial thrust, ensuring smooth performance and long life. Their permanently lubricated, heavy-duty motor ball bearings accommodate radial loads and residual hydraulic thrusts. The self-lubricating mechanical seal prevents liquid seepage. An aluminum die-cast adaptor with an integral support foot delivers lightweight and durable construction. The radially-split volute can be left in the line while servicing the pump, eliminating needless disconnecting of pipes. A back pull-out design eliminates the need to break piping connections when servicing the pump.
