Energy-Efficient Potable Water Circulation in a Compact Design
Bell & Gossett ecocirc e³ circulators are energy-saving domestic hot water pumps designed specifically for potable water applications. Built with permanent magnet ECM motor technology, these lead-free circulators provide efficient, reliable performance while using significantly less electricity than standard circulating pumps.
The ecocirc e³ is designed for whole-house potable water circulation and operates with power consumption as low as 5 to 28 watts. Select models use only 10 watts, which is about the same as a small night light, helping reduce energy use while maintaining dependable hot water circulation.
The high-efficiency ECM design uses microprocessor technology to provide the motor with the proper frequency and voltage for optimized performance. A permanent magnet motor eliminates the need for additional input power to magnetize the rotor, helping maximize efficiency while delivering strong starting torque compared to traditional induction motor pumps.
Designed for easy installation and flexible use, ecocirc e³ circulators are lightweight, compact, and available with multiple configuration options, including built-in thermostat, plug-in timer, plug and cord, temperature sensor, and different body styles. Connection options include 1/2" UltraCirc, 1/2" sweat, and 1/2" FNPT threaded connections.
The shaft-free spherical motor design helps improve reliability and simplify operation. The bearing is self-realigning, automatically lubricated, and cooled by the system fluid. The rotor is magnetically centered on the bearing and can tilt to help avoid blockage from small dirt particles, supporting reliable start-up even after extended periods of inactivity.
