The Bell and Gossett PL Series is a booster pump range; it's commonly used to boost pressure and flow in heating, cooling, and DHW water systems. If you are looking for its typical applications and...
Bell & Gossett Series e-60 pumps are three-piece in-line centrifugal pumps designed for dependable performance in heating, cooling, potable water, and general fluid transfer applications. Built as a modern replacement for legacy Series 60 pumps, the Series e-60 offers improved efficiency, easier service, and true maintenance-free operation.
With dimensional interchangeability to legacy Series 60 models, the Series e-60 is a strong drop-in replacement option for retrofit projects. Matching flange-to-flange and intake/suction dimensions helps simplify installation while minimizing piping changes. The in-line design mounts directly to system piping through bolted flange connections, saving valuable floor space and providing design flexibility.
Series e-60 pumps are available in 9 sizes, with 144 stock models and additional built-to-order configurations. Pumps can be easily selected using Bell & Gossett pump selection and e-order software, making it easier to match the right pump to the application.
Built with high-quality components, the Series e-60 is designed for smooth operation, long pump life, and reduced maintenance. Permanently lubricated rotating bearings are fully enclosed in Polyrex™ grease, while the upgraded unitized mechanical seal helps improve performance and extend seal life.
For applications requiring variable speed control, the Series e-60 ECM option provides simple speed adjustment, quieter operation, and improved motor efficiency.
The Series e-60 uses an internally self-flushing, unitized mechanical seal with a stainless steel drive mechanism. This design helps reduce torsional stress on the seal bellows while simplifying seal replacement.
An open seal chamber provides strong fluid circulation at the seal face, helping reduce heat buildup and remove particles. This supports longer seal life and dependable performance over the life of the pump.
