Bell & Gossett Series e-80SC Split-Coupled In-Line Centrifugal Pumps

Bell & Gossett Series e-80SC split-coupled in-line centrifugal pumps are designed for water circulation in closed-loop HVAC and plumbing systems. Their split-coupled, vertically installed in-line design supports commercial and industrial applications where reduced maintenance time, space-saving installation, and dependable fluid movement are important to efficient heating and cooling system operation.

Efficient Split-Coupled In-Line Pumping with Easy Maintenance

Bell & Gossett Series e-80SC split-coupled in-line pumps are designed to deliver high hydraulic efficiency, durable performance, and easier service in commercial hydronic systems. Built with a vertical in-line centrifugal design, these pumps help save mechanical room space while providing dependable operation across a wide range of applications.

Each Series e-80SC pump is built with high-quality components engineered to support smooth performance, reduce maintenance needs, and extend pump life. Available in stainless steel fitted construction, the e-80SC is well-suited for hydronic heating and cooling systems, light industrial processes, and general service applications.

Series e-80SC pumps are available in 1-1/2" through 14" discharge sizes, with motor options from 1 to 300 HP at 1750 RPM. They provide flows up to 8,500 GPM, heads up to 202 feet, and working pressures up to 250 PSIG.

For greater efficiency and system control, Series e-80SC pumps can be integrated with optional variable speed drives and configured for sensored or sensorless control. These options help improve pump performance while matching output to system demand.

Mechanical Seal Design

The Series e-80SC features a compact rotating unitized seal head design that helps make seal replacement easier. A standard internally flushed mechanical seal is included and rated for a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI.

Two optional mechanical seals are also available, each rated for maximum pressures up to 250 PSI. One option is internally installed, while the other is designed for external installation. Both optional seal types use an external flush line to help prolong seal life.

Shaft-Jacking Coupling

Series e-80SC pumps include a patented shaft-jacking coupling design that helps simplify maintenance. This design allows one service technician to replace the mechanical seal without requiring another person to lift the pump shaft during reassembly.

Depending on the mechanical room layout and available lifting equipment, this feature can help reduce labor cost and pump downtime by up to 40%.
