Bell & Gossett Series PD40 three-piece booster pumps are designed for reliable circulation in hydronic heating, cooling, and general service applications. Built with a service-friendly three-piece configuration, the PD40 provides dependable operation while allowing easier field repair when maintenance is required.

The Series PD40 is part of Bell & Gossett’s in-line booster pump family and is available with iron or bronze body construction to match different system requirements. Bronze construction should be used where potable water is supplied, while cast iron models are commonly used in closed-loop hydronic systems.

Designed for quiet, efficient operation, Bell & Gossett booster pumps are equipped with Bell & Gossett manufactured motors and rugged internal components. The PD40 includes a mechanical carbon-on-ceramic seal, heat-treated carbon steel shaft, permanently lubricated ball bearings, and a flexible sleeve-type coupler for dependable performance.
