Three-Piece Booster Pump Reliability for Hydronic Systems
Bell & Gossett PR Series iron and bronze booster pumps are in-line, three-piece pumps designed for dependable circulation in hydronic systems. Built for reliable performance and field serviceability, these pumps are a practical choice for heating, cooling, and general hydronic applications.
PR Series pumps are available in cast iron or bronze body construction. Cast iron models are commonly used for closed-loop hydronic systems, while bronze construction should be used where potable water is supplied. Series 100 and HV models are listed with Underwriters Laboratories, and Bell & Gossett boosters with standard 60 Hz single- and three-phase motors are CSA certified.
Each pump features mechanical carbon-on-ceramic seal construction for dependable operation. Depending on the model, pump and motor bearing designs may include oil-lubricated bronze sleeve bearings or permanently lubricated ball bearings. Flexible coupler designs support smooth power transfer between the motor and pump.
Bell & Gossett motors are available from 1/12 HP through 1-1/2 HP in standard single- and three-phase drip-proof configurations, with recognition under the Underwriters Laboratories Component Program.
