Grundfos Tanks for Water Pressure Control, Booster Systems, Well Pumps, Cold-Water Systems, and Heating Applications
Grundfos Tanks are designed to help control system pressure in domestic, commercial, and industrial water applications. These tanks can be integrated with a wide range of pump systems to support stable pressure, reduce pump cycling, improve system comfort, and help protect pumps and piping from frequent starts and sudden pressure changes.
GT tanks are long-life tanks suited for controlling pressure in domestic, commercial, and industrial applications in cold-water and heating systems. They are commonly used with booster systems, well water systems, pressure boosting packages, water supply systems, and hydronic heating or cooling installations where controlled pressure storage is needed.
The Grundfos tank range includes multiple tank styles for different applications. GT-H tanks are steel tanks with a non-toxic butyl rubber diaphragm and precision-molded polypropylene liner for air and water separation in drinking water applications. GT-U tanks use a replaceable bladder design for cold-water systems, while GT-HR tanks are intended for cooling or heating systems.
By storing pressurized water and separating the air charge from the system water, Grundfos tanks help reduce unnecessary pump starts, stabilize pressure delivery, and support longer pump life. Properly selected tanks can also help reduce water hammer, improve drawdown volume, and support smoother operation in fixed-speed and variable-speed pumping systems.
