Taco Pressure Reducing Valves

Pressure reducing valves are boiler feed components designed to regulate incoming water pressure in hydronic systems. Their cartridge-style design places serviceable parts in a removable one-piece assembly, with dial-in pressure adjustment, fast-fill operation, an integral strainer, and internal check support for applications where controlled fill pressure, easier maintenance, and dependable system protection are important.

Taco Pressure Reducing Valves for Hydronic Boiler Fill, HVAC Pressure Control, and Heating System Makeup Water

Taco Pressure Reducing Valves are designed to help maintain proper fill pressure in hydronic heating systems by automatically feeding makeup water into the system as needed. These valves support stable boiler and hydronic system operation by reducing incoming water pressure to a controlled system pressure.

The Taco Cartridge Style Pressure Reducing Valve is built for performance, serviceability, and easier setup. Its self-compensating design uses a one-piece cartridge that contains the internal valve components, allowing the cartridge to be removed and serviced without reducing system pressure. This helps simplify maintenance and reduce downtime during service.

A dial-in pressure setting allows the valve to be adjusted across a 10 to 50 PSI range without requiring an external pressure gauge. The fast-fill mode increases flow during system filling and automatically returns to normal operation once the set pressure is reached, helping reduce startup time and improve installation efficiency.

Built with quality internal components, including a stainless steel spindle and integral stainless steel coaxial strainer, Taco pressure reducing valves provide dependable hydronic system pressure control for boiler rooms, heating systems, and HVAC makeup water applications.
