This Taco Series 1900, Model 1941-4P-PM pump is a close-coupled in-line pump with a 2" (50) mm suction and discharge. It has a nominal impeller diameter of 7.9" and is constructed with a CI casing, SS impeller, and CI bracket with bronze face plate. The bracket design is the first design (current) with companion flanges. The seal is Sealide C stationary seat (silicon carbide) carbon rotating element, with Viton elastomer that can withstand temperatures up to 250 Deg F. The frame size is 56C face, and it does not come with a VFD. The motor has a horsepower of 2, operates at 1750 RPM, has premium efficiency, and is compatible with 208-230/460/60/3 power supply. The motor part number is provided as 1662-119. DOE information includes PEI = 0.95 and RPM = 1750.
1900 Series Overview
1900 Series of close-coupled in-line pumps are manufactured by Taco Comfort Solutions, a global authority in designing and building heating and cooling systems since 1920. These pumps adhere to modern hydraulic performance and reliability benchmarks. The series incorporates five distinct models, with sizes spanning from 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" to 2" x 2". They offer a flow range from 10 to 250 GPM and can reach up to 160 feet of head capabilities.
These pumps are known for their compact, energy-efficient design, which allows for flexible installation in any part of the piping layout. They are self-supporting, eliminating the need for extra external support or strapping. They can be installed both horizontally or vertically.
1900 Series pumps are essentially maintenance-free, thanks to the motor's permanently sealed, grease-lubricated ball bearings. All models of the 1900 Series come equipped with standard ceramic seals, compatible with a wide range of application requirements.
