This Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air and Dirt Separator, Model 4910ADHR, is a highly efficient device designed to effectively remove air and dirt particles from hydronic systems. With its removable top cover and base ring, maintenance and cleaning are made easy. It features a 10" flanged connection and can handle up to 150 psi of pressure. This separator works by using centrifugal force to separate the air and dirt particles from the water in the system. The separated particles are then collected in a chamber at the bottom of the unit, which can be easily drained. This product is ideal for commercial HVAC systems or any hydronic system that requires efficient air and dirt separation.
4900 Series Overview
Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air & Dirt Separators efficiently remove air, dirt, and other contaminants from system components, enhancing efficiency and longevity. They use patented PALL ring technology to eliminate micro-bubbles and debris, while an optional magnet collects iron oxide and magnetite.
These separators also feature a vent mechanism for releasing merged micro-bubbles and a blowdown valve to dispose of dirt. The magnet, easily activated by a handle, simplifies maintenance and magnetite removal. They are suitable for systems with variable speed and constant flow.
Taco 4900 Series separators are constructed and tested to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 standards. Their design is guided by computerized selection, tailored for each application. All manufacturing occurs in-house, ensuring quality. Independent third-party tests validate performance.
