This close-coupled in-line pump has aligned 2-inch suction and discharge ports, built to reduce strain on system piping. The casing and bracket use cast iron construction, while the 7.9-inch diameter impeller and shaft consist of stainless steel. This unit includes a mechanical seal assembly equipped with a silicon carbide stationary seat, a carbon rotating element, and Viton elastomers for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The hydraulic assembly has a dynamically balanced, one-piece cast impeller built in accordance with Hydraulic Institute standards and includes pressure tappings for differential readings. This self-supporting configuration can be installed in horizontal or vertical orientations without external strapping, meeting a maximum operating pressure rating of 175 PSI.
This unit is equipped with a 1 1/2 HP, 1750 RPM, ODP motor configured for 115/208-230/60/1 power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
