This close-coupled in-line pump has 2-inch suction and discharge ports, allowing for in-line installation within the system piping. The casing and bracket use cast iron construction, while the 7.9-inch diameter impeller and shaft consist of stainless steel. The fluid-handling end includes a mechanical seal with a silicon carbide stationary seat, a carbon rotating element, and Viton elastomers, which allow operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is self-supporting and can be installed in horizontal or vertical positions. It follows Hydraulic Institute standards and handles a maximum operating pressure of 175 PSI.
The pump uses a 1 1/2 HP motor at 1750 RPM with an open drip-proof (ODP) enclosure and a 230/460V, 3PH power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
