This Taco motor, with an output of 250 horsepower, is designed to be used with Taco Comfort Solutions pumps. It operates at a speed of 1750 rotations per minute (RPM) and requires a voltage of 380 volts (V). The motor is suitable for use in applications where the frequency is 60 hertz (Hz) and the power supply is three-phase. It features a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, which provides protection against dust and moisture. The motor is built with a frame size of 447 T and has a service factor of 1.15, allowing it to handle higher loads than its rated horsepower. When viewed from the shaft end, the motor rotates counterclockwise (CCW). It meets the premium efficiency standards outlined in MG1-12.55, ensuring energy savings and reduced operating costs.
