This close-coupled in-line pump has an in-line design with 1 1/2" suction and discharge ports, allowing for horizontal or vertical installation. The assembly uses a cast iron casing and bracket paired with a 4.75" diameter stainless steel impeller and shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber construction manages fluid containment at temperatures reaching 250°F. The unit follows Hydraulic Institute standards for structural integrity and includes integrated pressure tappings for differential readings. This self-supporting configuration reduces strain on system piping and simplifies integration within existing hydronic loops.
The pump uses a 1 1/2 HP, 3450 RPM, TEFC motor with a 230/460V, 3PH power supply, also usable at 208V. This motor connects to an included 208-240V, 1PH variable frequency drive. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
