This close-coupled in-line pump has an in-line casing design with aligned 2" suction and discharge ports to reduce system piping strain. It uses a 7.9" nominal diameter cast 304 stainless steel impeller paired with a cast iron casing and bracket. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft along with a mechanical seal constructed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit handles fluid temperatures up to 250°F and includes integrated pressure tappings for differential readings. The self-supporting configuration can be installed in horizontal or vertical piping runs without external strapping, meeting Hydraulic Institute standards for a maximum operating pressure of 175 PSI.
The assembly includes a standard motor configuration compatible with specific HP, RPM, enclosure type, and voltage and phase power supply requirements. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
