This NIBCO Press System bronze ball valve body is manufactured from dezincification resistant bronze, with a bronze blowout-proof stem. With the full port design and brass ball, the ball valve allows maximum flow and minimum pressure drop or turbulence with unobstructed bi-directional flow. The ball valve is designed with press-to-connect end connections with an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring for quick and easy joinery to the piping system. Properly applying pressure from a press-fit tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, permanent, watertight seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux. This ball valve features a new design that allows a leak to occur during testing if the press connection is not properly crimped. This NIBCO Press System is user friendly, quick and easy to install. When properly crimped a unique "N" witness mark is clearly visible. The two-piece valve is recommended for many applications, including HVAC, hot and cold potable water, and non-potable process water. The lever handle provides convenient quarter-turn operation and bubble-tight shutoff. Please refer to NIBCO technical data sheets and catalogs for engineering and installation information. NIBCO Press System applies the proven performance of press technology to NIBCO valves and fittings - the most specified flow control products in the industry. This NIBCO Press System features a full range of precision engineered copper fittings, bronze valves, accessories, pressing tools, jaws and chains. NIBCO Press System valves are backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Because of its longstanding reputation for innovation and precision in design and manufacturing, NIBCO is the preferred brand in the industry.
