Taco 4903ADR-125, Air-Dirt Separator, Removable Cover, 3" Flanged, 125 PSI

This Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air and Dirt Separator, Model 4903ADR, features a removable top cover with a 3" flanged connection and a maximum working pressure of 125 psi. Designed for use in hydronic systems, this separator works by removing air and dirt particles from the system's circulating fluid. As the fluid enters the separator, it is forced to change direction, causing any air or dirt to separate from the fluid and collect in the bottom of the separator. The collected debris can then be easily removed through a blowdown valve. This efficient design helps to prevent damage to system components and maintain optimal performance.

4900 Series Overview

Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air & Dirt Separators efficiently remove air, dirt, and other contaminants from system components, enhancing efficiency and longevity. They use patented PALL ring technology to eliminate micro-bubbles and debris, while an optional magnet collects iron oxide and magnetite.

These separators also feature a vent mechanism for releasing merged micro-bubbles and a blowdown valve to dispose of dirt. The magnet, easily activated by a handle, simplifies maintenance and magnetite removal. They are suitable for systems with variable speed and constant flow.

Taco 4900 Series separators are constructed and tested to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 standards. Their design is guided by computerized selection, tailored for each application. All manufacturing occurs in-house, ensuring quality. Independent third-party tests validate performance.
