This close-coupled in-line pump has an in-line design with aligned suction and discharge ports, which reduces strain on system piping. The casing and bracket use cast iron construction, while the impeller and shaft use stainless steel. It includes a 4.75-inch nominal diameter impeller and 2-inch flanges for connection to 1.5-inch suction and discharge lines. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is self-supported by system piping and can be installed in horizontal or vertical orientations. The casing structure includes pressure tappings for differential pressure readings.
The pump includes a 3 HP, 3450 RPM, TEFC motor configured for 230/460V, 3PH power. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
