This Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air and Dirt Separator, Model 4910AD, is a highly efficient device designed to remove air and dirt from hydronic systems. It features a 10" flanged connection with a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and comes equipped with a base ring for easy installation. The separator uses a patented PALL ring technology that creates a low-velocity zone where microbubbles coalesce into larger bubbles, making them easier to remove. Additionally, the separator includes an internal screen that captures dirt particles as small as 5 microns. This product is an essential component of any hydronic system as it helps improve system efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and prolong equipment life.

Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air & Dirt Separators efficiently remove air, dirt, and other contaminants from system components, enhancing efficiency and longevity. These separators also feature a vent mechanism for releasing merged micro-bubbles and a blowdown valve to dispose of dirt. The magnet, easily activated by a handle, simplifies maintenance and magnetite removal. They are suitable for systems with variable speed and constant flow.
Taco 4900 Series separators are constructed and tested to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 standards. Their design is guided by computerized selection, tailored for each application. All manufacturing occurs in-house, ensuring quality. Independent third-party tests validate performance.
