This in-line circulator has a cast iron casing and bracket paired with a 4.40" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The 3" suction and discharge unit uses a stainless steel shaft housed within a replaceable ball bearing cartridge to isolate internal bearings from system fluid. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. A flexible rubber drive coupling connects the motor to the pump to absorb angular and parallel misalignment. This construction works well for hydronic applications including chilled water circulation and primary-secondary loops.
A 1/3 HP, 1750 RPM open-drip proof (ODP) motor powers the assembly with a 115V, 1PH supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
