This Chemtrol calibrated needle valve is designed for fine regulation of liquid flow. The valve's injection molded PVC construction with FKM O-ring is ideal for use in instrumentation and laboratory work. The flow through the 1/4" calibrated needle valve can be accurately adjusted by observing the knob handle exposing numerals molded on the valve body. Convenient multi-turn operation allows for precise throttling of manual valve, as well as a positive stop for safe operation. The valve can be easily joined with the threaded end connections. PVC Schedule 80 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance properties and has the highest long-term hydrostatic strength of any other major thermoplastic material used for piping systems. Chemtrol PVC valves are lightweight, easy to install, maintenance-free, and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode.
