This NIBCO Press System vented ball valve is designed for mechanical HVAC and non-potable process water applications. This ball valve has press connections and features a new design that allows a leak to occur during testing if the press connection is not properly crimped. The two-piece ball valve body is manufactured from dezincification resistant bronze, with a stainless steel blowout-proof stem. With the full port design and vented stainless steel ball, the ball valve allows unobstructed bi-directional flow. The lever handle provides convenient quarter-turn operation and bubble-tight shutoff. The bronze ball valve features press-to-connect end connections with an inboard bead and EPDM O-rings for quick and easy joinery to the piping system. This NIBCO Press System is user friendly, quick and easy to install. Simply applying pressure from a press-fit tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, permanent, watertight seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux. When properly crimped a unique "N" witness mark is clearly visible. Please refer to NIBCO technical data sheets and catalogs for engineering and installation information. NIBCO Press System applies the proven performance of press technology to NIBCO valves and fittings - the most specified flow control products in the industry. This NIBCO Press System features a full range of precision engineered copper fittings, bronze valves, accessories, pressing tools, jaws and chains. NIBCO Press System valves are backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Because of its longstanding reputation for innovation and precision in design and manufacturing, NIBCO is the preferred brand in the industry.
