This Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air Separator, Model 4906A, is a highly efficient and reliable product that is designed to remove air from hydronic heating and cooling systems. The air separator features a 6" flanged connection and can withstand pressures of up to 150 psi. It uses a patented PALL ring technology that ensures effective separation of air from water without causing any pressure drop in the system. 4900 Series Overview
Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air & Dirt Separators efficiently remove air, dirt, and other contaminants from system components, enhancing efficiency and longevity. They use patented PALL ring technology to eliminate micro-bubbles and debris, while an optional magnet collects iron oxide and magnetite.
These separators also feature a vent mechanism for releasing merged micro-bubbles and a blowdown valve to dispose of dirt. The magnet, easily activated by a handle, simplifies maintenance and magnetite removal. They are suitable for systems with variable speed and constant flow.
