Taco 4904ADH-125, Air-Dirt Separator, 4" Flanged, 125 PSI

This Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air and Dirt Separator, Model 4904ADH, is a high-velocity, 4" flanged connection separator designed for use in hydronic systems. The separator removes air and dirt from the system to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. As water flows through the separator, it is directed along a spiral path that causes the heavier particles to be thrown to the outer wall of the separator. The air is then released through an automatic air vent at the top of the unit. The dirt collects at the bottom of the unit, where it can be easily removed through a blowdown valve. With a maximum working pressure of 125 psi, this separator is suitable for use in commercial applications.

4900 Series Overview

Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air & Dirt Separators efficiently remove air, dirt, and other contaminants from system components, enhancing efficiency and longevity. They use patented PALL ring technology to eliminate micro-bubbles and debris, while an optional magnet collects iron oxide and magnetite.

These separators also feature a vent mechanism for releasing merged micro-bubbles and a blowdown valve to dispose of dirt. The magnet, easily activated by a handle, simplifies maintenance and magnetite removal. They are suitable for systems with variable speed and constant flow.

Taco 4900 Series separators are constructed and tested to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 standards. Their design is guided by computerized selection, tailored for each application. All manufacturing occurs in-house, ensuring quality. Independent third-party tests validate performance.
