This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT20F, is a 20" flanged connection device that operates with a maximum pressure of 150 psi. The air separator features a strainer and base ring that helps to remove air from hydronic systems by utilizing the tangential flow principle. This principle creates a low-velocity centrifugal action that allows the air to separate from the water in the system. As a result, this device effectively removes air and other debris from the system, improving its overall efficiency and preventing damage to pumps and other equipment. The ACT20F is an excellent choice for commercial and industrial applications where efficient hydronic systems are required.
