This close-coupled in-line pump has 1 1/2" suction and discharge ports aligned for installation directly into the system piping. The construction uses a cast iron casing and bracket combined with a 4.75" stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber elements, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for differential readings and conforms to Hydraulic Institute standards. This self-supporting configuration allows for both vertical and horizontal orientation without external strapping.
The unit uses a 1/2 HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC motor with a 230/460V, 3PH power supply, which is also usable at 208V, paired with a 208-240V, 1PH VFD for flow control. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
