This close-coupled in-line pump has an in-line configuration with aligned 2-inch suction and discharge ports. The casing, impeller, face plate, and shaft use 304 stainless steel construction, while the bracket uses cast iron to house the rotating assembly. The unit has a 6.15-inch nominal impeller diameter and is rated for 250°F operation. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This self-supporting unit can be installed in either horizontal or vertical orientations. Integrated pressure tappings allow for differential readings during operation. The hydraulic structure is built in accordance with Hydraulic Institute standards and meets NSF-61 requirements for water systems.
The pump uses a 5 HP, 3450 RPM, TEFC premium efficient motor paired with a 230/460V, 3PH power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
