This Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator, Model AC02, is a 2" threaded connection device that operates at a maximum pressure of 150 psi. It is designed to remove air from hydronic heating and cooling systems, improving their efficiency and reducing maintenance requirements. The separator works by creating a low-velocity zone in the unit where microbubbles of air can collect and be released through an automatic vent valve. This process prevents air from circulating in the system, which can cause noise, corrosion, and reduced heat transfer. The Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator is made of durable materials such as brass and stainless steel to withstand high temperatures and pressures. It is easy to install and maintain, making it an ideal choice for both residential and commercial applications.
