This Honeywell air duct smoke detection device is designed to provide early detection of smoke and products of combustion present in air moving through HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) ducts in commercial, industrial, and residential applications. The device is engineered with a photoelectric sensor that responds to a broad spectrum of both visible and invisible smoke particles. It operates at temperatures from -4┬░F to 158┬░F (-20┬░C to 70┬░C) and can withstand humidity levels up to 93% relative humidity (RH). The unit features an external LED (Light Emitting Diode) that indicates the sensor's status. It also includes an integrated test feature that allows for local testing of the detector's functionality. The product complies with UL (Underwriters Laboratories) 268A standards specifically for smoke detectors for air duct applications.
