This close-coupled in-line pump has an in-line design with aligned 1 1/2-inch suction and discharge ports to reduce system piping strain. The assembly uses cast iron for the casing and bracket, paired with a stainless steel impeller and a bronze face plate. It accommodates a 6.35-inch nominal diameter impeller and includes companion flanges for installation. The mechanical seal has a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. Built to Hydraulic Institute standards, the configuration allows for horizontal or vertical installation and includes pressure tappings for differential head readings.
The unit has a 5 HP, 3450 RPM premium efficiency motor housed in a TEFC enclosure, compatible with 230/460V, 3PH power. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
