This Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator, Model AC06, is a hydronic system component that removes air and debris from the circulating fluid. It is designed with a 6" flanged connection and can operate at a maximum pressure of 125 psi. The base ring provides stable mounting for the separator in the piping system. The AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator works by utilizing centrifugal force to separate air and debris from the fluid stream. As the fluid enters the separator, it is directed to spin around a helical baffle, causing heavier particles to be thrown towards the outer wall of the separator and lighter particles to be collected in the center. The air then rises to the top of the separator where it is vented out through an automatic air vent. This product ensures efficient operation of hydronic systems by preventing corrosion, increasing energy efficiency, and extending equipment life.
