The 585HP is on the cutting edge of manufacturing technology, ease of installation, and highest quality standards. The Classic Ball Valve has been completely rethought and redesigned to enhance the user experience and incorporate advances in assembly technology. NIBCO has created the most advanced commercial ball valve on the market today. The valve is laser-welded to create an incredibly strong joint between the body and body-end pieces, eliminating a potential leak path. The weld allows for an increased pressure rating of 1,000 psi, up from the standard 600 psi. NIBCO engineers have redesigned the top works of the valve to make it easier to install and service. The stem is triple sealed with double O-rings and PTFE packing. The easily accessible, large pack nut can be tightened without removing the handle or using a special wrench. This also allows for the packing to be replaced and serviced. The handle is reversible without disconnecting the valve.585HP ball valve features solder ends for easy installation.
