This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT14, is designed to remove air from closed hydronic systems. It has a 14-inch flanged connection and can handle pressures up to 125 psi. The separator works by using centrifugal force to separate air from the fluid in the system. As the fluid enters the separator, it is forced to change direction, causing any air bubbles to be separated and collected in the top of the separator. The collected air can then be vented out of the system through an automatic air vent or manually through a valve. This model is made with high-quality materials and is easy to install and maintain, making it an ideal choice for a variety of hydronic applications.
