This Taco motor, with a power output of 400 horsepower, is specifically designed to be used with Taco Comfort Solutions pumps. It operates at a speed of 1750 revolutions per minute (RPM) and requires a voltage of 460 volts (V). The motor is suitable for 60 hertz (Hz) frequency and operates on a 3-phase electrical system. Enclosed in a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) enclosure, this motor provides enhanced protection against environmental factors such as dust and moisture. With its frame size of 449 T, the motor is built to withstand temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius (°C) ambient temperature. It has a service factor of 1.15 and rotates counterclockwise (CCW) when viewed from the shaft end. This motor offers premium efficiency, meeting the MG1-12.55 standards, and is equipped with AEGIS SGR for additional protection against electrical damage and an insulated bearing on the ODE end. The motor starts using an across-the-line starting method.
