This close-coupled in-line pump has aligned 1 1/2" suction and discharge ports to reduce system piping strain. The unit uses stainless steel for the casing, impeller, face plate, and shaft, combined with a cast iron bracket for structural support. Built in accordance with Hydraulic Institute standards, the assembly handles fluid temperatures up to 250°F and operates at pressures reaching 175 PSI. A 6.35" nominal diameter impeller sits within the casing, which includes pressure tappings for differential readings. This configuration allows for horizontal or vertical installation without external strapping. The mechanical seal has a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components to maintain fluid integrity throughout the operating range.
The pump uses a 5 HP, 3450 RPM motor with an ODP enclosure, powered by a 230/460V 3PH supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
