This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT05, is designed to remove air from hydronic heating and cooling systems. The unit features a tangential inlet that creates a low-velocity centrifugal motion that separates and removes air from the system fluid. The separator has a 5" flanged connection and can handle pressures up to 125 psi. The body of the separator is made of durable cast iron and has a protective epoxy coating for added corrosion resistance. This model is ideal for use in commercial and industrial applications where high flow rates are required. With its efficient design, the Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator helps maintain system performance by preventing air buildup that can lead to reduced efficiency and increased maintenance costs over time.
ACT Series Overview
