This Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air and Dirt Separator, Model 4908ADHR, is designed to remove air and dirt from hydronic systems. Its high velocity capabilities ensure efficient removal of even the smallest particles. The removable top cover allows for easy access during maintenance, while the 8" flanged connection ensures a secure installation. With a maximum operating pressure of 150 psi, this separator is suitable for use in a variety of commercial applications. The base ring provides added stability during installation. 4900 Series Overview
Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air & Dirt Separators efficiently remove air, dirt, and other contaminants from system components, enhancing efficiency and longevity. They use patented PALL ring technology to eliminate micro-bubbles and debris, while an optional magnet collects iron oxide and magnetite.
These separators also feature a vent mechanism for releasing merged micro-bubbles and a blowdown valve to dispose of dirt. The magnet, easily activated by a handle, simplifies maintenance and magnetite removal. They are suitable for systems with variable speed and constant flow.
Taco 4900 Series separators are constructed and tested to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 standards. Their design is guided by computerized selection, tailored for each application. All manufacturing occurs in-house, ensuring quality. Independent third-party tests validate performance.
