This close-coupled in-line pump has an in-line configuration with 1.5-inch suction and discharge ports, paired with 2-inch flanges to facilitate installation. The casing and bracket use cast iron construction, while the impeller and shaft use stainless steel to support the 6.35-inch nominal impeller diameter. The unit includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of withstanding operating temperatures up to 250°F. This hydraulic assembly includes integrated pressure tappings for differential readings and is built for flexible installation, allowing the pump to be self-supported by system piping in either horizontal or vertical orientations.
The 5 HP motor runs at 3450 RPM in a TEFC enclosure, powered by 230/460V 3PH current. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
