This Taco motor, with an output of 100 horsepower, is designed to be used with Taco Comfort Solutions pumps. It operates at a speed of 1750 revolutions per minute (RPM) and has a voltage rating of 575 volts. The motor is suitable for use in 60 hertz (Hz) power systems and is designed for three-phase operation. It features an open drip-proof (ODP) enclosure, which provides protection against dust and water splashes while allowing air to circulate freely around the motor. The motor is built with a frame size of 404T and has a service factor of 1.15, allowing it to handle higher loads than its rated horsepower. It rotates counterclockwise (CCW) when viewed from the shaft end and operates at temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The motor also incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding technology, which helps prevent damage caused by stray electrical currents. It meets the efficiency requirements for premium efficiency motors as specified in MG1-12.55 standard and starts using an across-the-line starting method.
