This close-coupled in-line pump has 1 1/2" suction and discharge ports aligned to maintain smooth fluid flow and reduce system piping strain. The assembly uses cast iron for the casing and bracket, combined with a 6.35" diameter stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft. Inside, the unit uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operating temperatures up to 250°F. This self-supporting configuration allows for both horizontal and vertical installation without external strapping, meeting Hydraulic Institute standards for structural integrity within the 175 PSI pressure rating.
The pump has a 5 HP motor operating at 3450 RPM with a TEFC enclosure, powered by 208-230/460V 3PH. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
