This in-line circulator has 3" suction and discharge connections paired with a 4.90" nominal diameter impeller. The casing, impeller, face plate, and shaft use stainless steel construction, while the mounting bracket is cast iron. It includes a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly that isolates internal bearings from system fluid temperatures. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber rated for 250°F. This configuration uses a dynamically and hydraulically balanced impeller combined with a flexible rubber drive coupling to handle shaft misalignment within the assembly.
Power is supplied by a 1/2 HP, 1750 RPM open-drip proof (ODP) motor configured for 200-230/460V, 3PH service. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
