This Chemtrol Tru-Bloc True Union ball valve is engineered with a self-adjusting seat and upstream and downstream blocking capability to stop flow when an alternate union is removed for servicing the piping system. The valve's injection molded CPVC construction with EPDM O-ring is ideal for use in systems for hot corrosive liquids, hot and cold water distribution, chemical processing, industrial plating, deionized water lines, chemical drainage, waste water treatment systems, and similar applications above the temperature range of PVC. The original Chemtrol True Union design allows the valve and operational components to be conveniently lifted from the piping system for repair or replacement. Tru-Bloc advances the True Union concept with the self-adjusting energizer O-ring. The valve can be easily joined with the universal socket and threaded end connections.
