This Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator, Model AC10, is a 10" flanged connection device that can handle up to 250 psi. It is designed to remove air from hydronic systems and improve their efficiency. As water circulates through the system, air bubbles can form and accumulate, which reduces the system's ability to transfer heat. This in-line separator uses centrifugal force to separate the air from the water and vent it out of the system through a vent valve. The remaining water flows through the separator and back into the system. This process helps to reduce corrosion, noise, and energy consumption while increasing comfort levels in buildings. The Taco AC/ACF Series In-Line Air Separator is easy to install and maintain, making it an excellent choice for commercial or industrial applications where high-pressure systems are used.
