This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT03, is designed to efficiently remove air from hydronic systems. The separator has a 3" flanged connection and can withstand pressures up to 150 psi. The tangential design of the separator creates a low-velocity centrifugal flow that allows for efficient separation of air from the fluid in the system. As the fluid enters the separator, it is forced into a circular path that causes any air bubbles to rise to the top of the unit where they can be easily vented out of the system. This process helps improve system efficiency and prevents damage caused by air pockets in the piping. The Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator is an essential component for any hydronic heating or cooling system.
ACT Series Overview
Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separators feature a highly efficient tangential design that helps clear the free air system and reduces un-dissolved sediment to save money, energy, and component wear.
