This close-coupled in-line pump uses a cast iron casing and bracket paired with a 7.9-inch stainless steel impeller and shaft. The hydraulic assembly includes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of handling fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit has aligned 2-inch suction and discharge ports, allowing for installation in both horizontal and vertical positions while remaining self-supported by the system piping. The casing includes integrated pressure tappings for differential readings and maintains a maximum operating pressure of 175 PSI. This construction meets Hydraulic Institute standards and facilitates smooth fluid flow while reducing internal stress throughout the system layout.
The unit uses a 1.5 HP, 1750 RPM standard efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 115/230V/60Hz/1PH power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
