This close-coupled in-line pump has 1.5-inch suction and discharge ports aligned for fluid flow within system piping. It contains a 4.75-inch stainless steel impeller housed inside a cast iron casing and bracket, combined with a bronze face plate. The mechanical seal assembly uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit can be installed in horizontal or vertical orientations and is self-supported by the piping. This configuration includes integral pressure tappings for differential readings, and the overall construction follows Hydraulic Institute standards to minimize strain on connected mechanical joints.
The system uses a 5 HP, 3450 RPM, TEFC motor configured for a 208-230/460V, 3PH power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
